Welcome Witten!

After 14 days in the Antepartum unit at St. Mary's, and another week on bed rest at home; my doctor had just let me get back to normal life again. I was once again free to move around and not spend my days in bed! In the middle of the night when I got up to use the bathroom, my water broke - sending us back to St. Mary's. He couldn't wait any longer! Witten Porterstone Sievers, born July 16, 2010 at 6:23am. He weighed 5.5lbs and was 17 1/2 inches.

We are all doing just fine. Because Witten is 6 weeks early he has to spend some time in the NICU.

Rob and I got to visit him that night and took our first family portrait.
